Athena first consults with each client to learn what they value and what they are looking to accomplish. She can work with a current setting and accentuate it to create a stylized space, or redo a room from top to bottom according to her client’s wishes.

Design

Complete Design Plan - Residential or Commercial

Following a private in person consultation, in which the client agrees to move forward with AR Interiors & Design Services, Athena will compile digital moodboards, storyboards, swatches and all design aspects to review with clients throughout the project duration. A Floor plan is discussed and outlined. Fabrics, paints, colors schemes, accessories, furniture, finishes, lighting, rugs and decorative accents are presented in order to communicate all ideas for the given space and project. This is where the theme will be established, depending on the direction of the customer. All designs will be based on the initial suggestions and ideas from the client, the provided budget and the measurements of the given space.

Pre-Renovation Consult
The Renovation Process can be tedious and overwhelming. We work with clients in the early stages of renovation to develop thoughtful, highly detailed design plans before the contractor bid process begins. Through comprehensive specifications, curated material selections, and clear construction documentation, we help contractors provide more accurate and reliable bids reflective of the full project scope. This proactive approach minimizes costly revisions, streamlines decision-making, and establishes a strong foundation for a successful renovation

Hourly, scoped to your project

In-home Consultation

Rather than a Complete Visual Design Plan, AR Interiors & Design can be hired for an hourly consult. Northern New Jersey service area; other locations in the metro area involve additional travel time and expense.

Sourcing, sampling, and selection

Personal Shopping

A great package for clients who simply don’t have the time to shop for the perfect furniture, décor, and accessories. Athena has developed relationships with many vendors in the industry — including trade only distributors — and can find and select the best pieces for your space, saving you weeks of searching.

Remote design, on your timeline

E-Designs

An initial phone conversation to discuss the project and measurements, followed by one or two digital moodboards with a coordinating spreadsheet of every element, price, and vendor for the room.  The client can order directly from the spreadsheet — or opt to have AR Interiors & Design manage the rest.
